Reading the evidence codes

q is the design tier, i the impact, n the sample, and the kind with its r the rigour judged within that kind: what each code means.

This claim: no standardized effect is recorded in observations/ for it yet, so no benchmark reading is possible.

q3 i3 After correction for multiple comparisons, the ADHD group reported higher self-perceived creativity in the performance (ηp2 = .09) and mechanical/scientific (ηp2 = .09) domains. → Boot Nathalie 2017 q3 i? No group differences were observed in the everyday, scholarly, or artistic domains of the K-DOCS. → Boot Nathalie 2017 (2)

Study 2 multivariate ANOVA on the Kaufman Domains of Creativity Scale (50 items, five domains) comparing 46 adults with ADHD and 44 controls. The omnibus test was significant (Wilk's Λ = 0.83, ηp2 = .18), with the ADHD group higher in the performance and mechanical/scientific domains.

"After correction for multiple comparisons (adjusted α = .01), we found significant group differences in the performance, F(1, 88) = 8.72, p = .004, ηp2 = .09; and mechanical/scientific domain, F(1, 88) = 8.50, p = .005, ηp2 = .09."

Same Study 2 K-DOCS analysis. The article reports no group differences in the everyday, scholarly, or artistic domains; the reliability of these subscales was suboptimal, which the authors note may have influenced the results.

"No group differences were observed in the everyday, F(1, 88) = 0.54, p = .464, ηp2 = .01; scholarly, F(1, 88) = .59, p = .443, ηp2 = .01; and artistic domains, F(1, 88) = 2.82, p = .097, ηp2 = .03."
