Reading the evidence codes

q is the design tier, i the impact, n the sample, and the kind with its r the rigour judged within that kind: what each code means.

This claim: no standardized effect is recorded in observations/ for it yet, so no benchmark reading is possible.

q3 i? Overall BtBC was significantly larger in genuine dyads than shuffled surrogates and larger under scaffolding than explanation. → Yafeng Pan 2022

Motion Energy Analysis of video-recorded 8-min learning phases; genuine dyad BtBC (0.14 ± 0.02) exceeded surrogate BtBC (0.08 ± 0.01, p = 0.0002). The linear mixed-effects model showed a main effect of Instructional Approach (β = 0.02, p = 0.03, R²β = 0.19), retained when instructor motion was added as a fixed factor.

"Further analysis disclosed that the scaffolding approach (0.15 ± 0.01) was associated with significantly larger BtBC between instructors and learners than the explanation approach (0.13 ± 0.01)"
