Reading the evidence codes

q is the design tier, i the impact, n the sample, and the kind with its r the rigour judged within that kind: what each code means.

This claim: no standardized effect is recorded in observations/ for it yet, so no benchmark reading is possible.

q2 i2 After discovery learning with three-phase listening, listening scores rose significantly (Wilcoxon z = -2.823, p = .005), with a medium effect size r = 0.364 and median rising from 80 to 86.7. → Hanafi 2016

q2 · i2 · causal · r1

One-group pretest-posttest quasi-experiment with 30 valid listening score pairs (7 outliers omitted). Pretest mean 79.56 (SD 9.25), posttest mean 85.15 (SD 4.55); "the median of the pre -test was 80 and the median of the post -test was 86.7". Effect size r = 0.364, called medium.

"Analysis results by Wilcoxon Signed Rank test on table 7 below shows that the level of significance is 0.005. This number is smaller than 0.05, meaning that there is a significant increase in the value of the pre-test to post-test score."
