Subclaims¶
Reading the evidence codes
q is the design tier, i the impact, n the sample, and the kind with its r
the rigour judged within that kind: what each code means.
This claim: no standardized effect is recorded in observations/ for it yet, so no benchmark reading is possible.
q3 i? Uptake was significantly higher in Enacted Feedback (estimated 26.2%) than in Directed Feedback (14.1%) and Self-Directed Feedback (0.1%), with Enacted vs Directed OR = 2.16; no standardised effect size was printed. → Omar Alsaiari 2026

Binomial GLMM on log data from 51,296 resources across the three workflow conditions, with student ID as random intercept. The omnibus likelihood-ratio test was significant, and the Enacted/Directed contrast gave OR = 2.16, a model-estimated difference of 12.1 percentage points. Observed uptake was "26.2%" versus 14.1% and 0.1%.
"Model-estimated probabilities followed the same pattern:Enacted Feedback, 26.2% (95% CI [25.3%, 27.2%]);Directed Feedback, 14.1% (95% CI [13.3%, 15.0%]); andSelf-Directed Feedback, 0.1% (95% CI [0.1%, 0.2%])."
Discussion¶
Related Claims¶
- Enacted Feedback produces more post-workflow revisions per resource than the comparison workflows — related
- In the Enacted Feedback workflow most resources moved from AI feedback to suggestion selection, while optional AI assistance was rarely entered — related
- The study dataset comprised 13,037 students, 51,296 student-authored resources, and 70 course offerings across three workflow conditions — related
- Revision after chatbot feedback predominantly results in successful uptake, indicating effective error correction — related
- Workflow condition is associated with students' self-assessment confidence — related
- Selecting a suggested option in the scaffold was associated with higher compliance for four out of twenty scaffold options in the generalized condition. — related
