Reading the evidence codes

q is the design tier, i the impact, n the sample, and the kind with its r the rigour judged within that kind: what each code means.

This claim: no standardized effect is recorded in observations/ for it yet, so no benchmark reading is possible.

q3 i? Feedback improved balloon placement accuracy (p=0.041) and resulted in a smoother learning curve and earlier plateau in performance in simulated renal artery angioplasty. → Trehan Abhishek 2015

Three-armed RCT by Boyle et al in simulated renal artery angioplasty with 18 surgeons, six cases per surgeon, assessing procedure-specific outcomes including contrast volume, fluoroscopic time, balloon placement accuracy, residual stenosis and lesion coverage. Balloon placement accuracy improved significantly in the feedback group.

"balloon placement accuracy was shown to be significantly improved in those receiving feedback (p=0.041)"
