Reading the evidence codes

q is the design tier, i the impact, n the sample, and the kind with its r the rigour judged within that kind: what each code means.

This claim: no standardized effect is recorded in observations/ for it yet, so no benchmark reading is possible.

q3 i? Regression analysis showed a strong effect of ICL on MAI-complexity, with ICL explaining half the variance. → Ines Zeitlhofer 2026

q3 · i? · causal · r?

A regression analysis with ICL as independent variable and MAI-complexity as dependent variable, computed with 131 cases after one outlier was removed, found "a strong effect of ICL on MAI-complexity" with R2 = 0.50; R² is not treated as a standardized effect size.

"Results revealed a strong effect of ICL on MAI-complexity ( F (1, 129) = 126.40, p < .001, R2 = 0.50; Hypothesis 2.3). The model leads to the regression equation MAI = 1.22 + 0.77 x ICL (t (129) = 11.24; p < .001)."
