Eye-tracking laboratory experiment with 55 participants randomly assigned to LDI integrated (n = 26) or LDI separated (n = 29) conditions viewing two history paintings. ANCOVA controlling interest in history showed a significant main effect, F(1,52) = 10.75, p = .002, ηp² = 0.171, with "significantly longer fixated in the LDI integrated condition".
