Content analysis of 1,565 Knowledge Forum notes coded into seven academic emotions plus none, from 120 low-achieving students in four classes. These results suggest students manifested a predominately higher percentage of positive emotions such as "joy and curiosity" than negative emotions in the Knowledge Building process.
