Reading the evidence codes

q is the design tier, i the impact, n the sample, and the kind with its r the rigour judged within that kind: what each code means.

This claim: no standardized effect is recorded in observations/ for it yet, so no benchmark reading is possible.

q3 i? Neither rhythm-trained nor other groups improved on the non-linguistic rhythm measures (500 ms and 667 ms tapping tasks); the only interaction was a worsening of the non-rhythm-trained group on the 667 ms task. → Gutiérrez-Palma 2026

q3 · i? · causal · r2

Non-parametric longitudinal analysis of both samples on the On Track Rhythm Test; Table 1 shows a significant G x Time effect for R2 (ATS = 3.19, p < .05, Cliff's delta = .27) in children without difficulties, driven by the phonological-awareness-only group worsening.

"As for the results on the ability to detect the non-linguistic rhythm, there was no improvement in any group. There was only interaction in the case of the 667 ms rhythm, so the only group that worsened was the group where rhythm was not trained."
