Reading the evidence codes

q is the design tier, i the impact, n the sample, and the kind with its r the rigour judged within that kind: what each code means.

This claim: no standardized effect is recorded in observations/ for it yet, so no benchmark reading is possible.

q3 i? P2 latency for nonlinguistic probes grew longer with age, from 193 ms in 10-year-olds to 209 ms in adults. → Karns Christina M. 2015

In the same cross-sectional dichotic-listening ERP study, the Age-group ANOVA on nonlinguistic P2 latency showed the latency "grew longer with age", F(3.71) = 9.6, p < .0001, in the opposite direction to the age-related shortening of P1 latency.

"the latency of the P2 grew longer with age from 193 ms in 10-year-olds, to 200 ms in 13-year-olds, 202 ms in 16-year-olds, and 209 ms in adults (Figure 3; F(3.71) = 9.6, p < .0001)."
