Reading the evidence codes
q is the design tier, i the impact, n the sample, and the kind with its r
the rigour judged within that kind: what each code means.
This claim: no standardized effect is recorded in observations/ for it yet, so no benchmark reading is possible.
q2 i? In a selection task isolating the selection component of question asking, the majority of 4- and 5-year-olds correctly identified the more informative question in both uniform (70%) and skewed (73%) conditions. → Azzurra Ruggeri 2022

Study 1 from Ruggeri et al. (2017), described in the article: 4- and 5-year-olds heard a storybook about Toma's lateness under uniform or skewed conditions and chose which of two monster friends asked the more informative question. 'In both conditions, the majority of children correctly selected the monster asking the more informative question.' Percentages are descriptive; no effect size printed.
"In the uniform condition, 70% of the children selected the monster who asked the constraint-seeking question, and in the skewed condition, 73% of the children selected the monster who asked the hypothesis-scanning question."
