Reading the evidence codes

q is the design tier, i the impact, n the sample, and the kind with its r the rigour judged within that kind: what each code means.

This claim: no standardized effect is recorded in observations/ for it yet, so no benchmark reading is possible.

q3 i? Comparing the same test's results across schools shows some schools develop the abilities much more effectively than others; some schools' medians are quite satisfactory while others' are very low. → Minnick 1925

q3 · i? · associational · r2

Comparison of school-level medians against the pooled medians, 25th and 75th percentiles in Tables V and VI (e.g., Test A median 62.5, school medians ranging from 50.5 to 78.7). Comparisons across tests were ruled out because the tests may not measure the abilities in the same way.

"However, we may compare the results obtained by giving the same test in different schools. Such a comparison shows that some of the schools are developing these abilities much more effectively than others."
