q is the design tier, i the impact, n the sample, and the kind with its r the rigour judged within that kind: what each code means.

This claim: no standardized effect is recorded in observations/ for it yet, so no benchmark reading is possible.

q2 i3 Self-concept substantially predicted achievement (β = .53 without controlling for value beliefs), while value beliefs were more predictive of self-rated effort. → Guo 2016

Latent SEM analysis (Models C1–C4) of 1,868 German ninth-graders using the second-order bi-factor value structure. Self-concept predicted achievement at β = .53 and effort at β = .32 in Model C1; the summary states "self-concept was more predictive of achievement, whereas value beliefs were more predictive of self-rated effort".

"self-concept was more predictive of achievement, whereas value beliefs were more predictive of self-rated effort. However, self-concept and value beliefs had similar predictive effects on teacher-rated engagement."
