Reading the evidence codes
q is the design tier, i the impact, n the sample, and the kind with its r
the rigour judged within that kind: what each code means.
This claim: no standardized effect is recorded in observations/ for it yet, so no benchmark reading is possible.
q3 i3 The active group's EEG power measures increased faster and stronger than the sham group's, with significant group-by-time interactions in alpha (4-back) and alpha and gamma (6-back). → Yufeng Ke 2023
q3 i3 In the 6-back task, gamma power group effect was significant at Post21 (η2p = 0.462) but not at Post1. → Yufeng Ke 2023 (2)

Mixed ANCOVAs on frontal task-related EEG power at Post-tests (4- and 6-back, N = 34) found significant group effects in all four bands for 6-back and a significant 4-back alpha group-by-time interaction (η2p = 0.277, p = 0.002), with the active group's power rising "faster/stronge r than the sham group".
"These statistical findings incorporating the results shown in Fig. 4 suggest HD-tDCS over the left dlP FC facilitated and enhanced the training-induced rise of the active group ’s task-related EEG activity from the Pre- to Post21-test."

Simple main effects analysis of 6-back gamma power showed no group effect at Post1 (p = 0.191) but a significant active-group advantage at Post21-test (η2p = 0.462), reported in the Results section of the randomized trial.
"the active group had a significantly higher gamma power t han the sham group at the Post21-test [F(1, 31) = 24.923, p < 0.0001, η2 p = 0.462]"
