Description

The article introduces a model for estimating growth from longitudinal data in which multiple raters evaluate a construct such as a student's self-efficacy. The model "removes all but the shared perceptions of raters at a given timepoint (i.e., removes unique rater variance), then adds on a latent growth curve model across timepoints." It was developed because few existing models estimate growth in the presence of multiple raters.

Accounts

  • A multi-rater latent growth curve model that removes unique rater variance before modeling growth: The article introduces a model for estimating growth from longitudinal data in which multiple raters evaluate a construct such as a student's self-efficacy.
