Description¶

The protocol's Stage 5 analysis plan specifies how to organise extracted data on educational approaches: compile and map them per the predefined evidence synthesis skill components (research question development, literature searching, study selection, critical appraisal, data analysis and interpretation, and final report writing), and chart the mode of delivery (online, offline or blended), teaching approach (lecture-based and/or practice-based), duration of training programme (short-term, moderate and long-term), categories of outcome measures (self-reported, observer-reported or performance-based) and feasibility indicators.

• Data extraction uses a standard JBI template tailored to the review context, with two reviewers extracting independently and pilot extraction checked for inter-rater agreement

• Quantitative evidence will be summarised using basic numerical statistics (frequency counts, percentages, ranges, mean, median or SD) rather than meta-analytic pooling
