Description¶

The program's professional development is interactive training on high quality service-learning instruction, integration of social emotional learning into academics, and best practices in teaching energy to elementary students. The article prints the sequence as "Four days of professional development prior to implementation", "One day after implementing with students has begun", a half-hour-to-hour coaching session with a second available on request, and a half-day Reflective Practice session after implementation ends. All participants receive a manual, an example implementation calendar, a science materials kit, and trade books.
