Description¶
The article recommends that, because knowledge is the social construction of individuals and others by negotiation, "students must cooperate and communicate with others" in the process of constructing knowledge. In a cooperation and communication environment, students can enlarge their views instead of receiving knowledge passively, build up their own knowledge system, cultivate innovative spirit and problem-solving ability, and learn to respect others' opinions and ideas. Traditional teaching neglected cooperation between teachers and students and among students.
