Description¶
A pre-visit activity in which "Students will participate in a cooperative learning activity designed to illustrate the similarities and differences between the loggerhead sea turtle and the box turtle." Each student receives a card describing one adaptation, reads it aloud to classmates, and physically sorts into two groups by species without showing cards. Groups then prepare and present a natural history of their turtle and help complete a class comparison chart.
