Description¶
The cycle of inquiry is the mechanism that connects indicators with supports in the CRIS framework. The article identifies six stages for any given indicator: take stock and prioritize, identify, plan, implement strategies, monitor progress and adjust as needed, and analyze results. The first two steps occur at the start of each school year at both district and school levels; monitoring continues throughout the year; results are analyzed at year end to lay groundwork for the following year.
