Description

For multi-institution programs, the framework lets students take courses across consortium universities with completions and credits recorded on the shared ledger; "a smart contract automatically verifies the credits, regardless of whether they come from different universities in the consortium, and issues a degree certificate on the blockchain, co-signed with the private keys of all three universities". Employers or other universities then verify the certificate in seconds via a verification portal without trusting any single institution's database.
