Description¶

Based on student perceptions in this study, the authors conclude that "AI videos can play a meaningful role in computing education without displacing instructors' presence that students value." Students favored AI videos for foundational or easily visualized topics, high-level summaries, supplemental clarification, and personalized support, while opposing their use for complex, subjective, or interactive contexts and for replacing lectures. Instructors should therefore adopt AI videos as supplements to, not replacements for, instructor-led instruction.
