Description¶
Gateway offers learning seminar courses and reading intervention classes as part of its system of supports. The report states that "The learning seminar courses are designed to help students learn how to learn—students identify different behaviors, mindsets, or habits that undermine learning and receive feedback on the implementation of various strategies that can help to address those barriers." The middle school also uses Process of Learning rubrics focused on prosocial and pro-academic habits and mindsets.
