Description¶
ParentCorps' program model is "deeply rooted in racial equity, including an emphasis on honoring families' expertise and cultures." Staff training is designed to help educators reflect on their beliefs about and the lived experiences of families, and the parenting program focuses on "affirming families' experiences" and building family-to-family connections. This offers an implementable recipe: pair staff belief-reflection with family-affirming group programming.
