Conduct a large pilot study to validate effectiveness with high confidence¶
Strategy · All strategies

Description¶
Phase 4 of the checklist prescribes a specific implementable activity: conduct a large pilot study and demonstrate with a high degree of confidence that the solution leads to improved outcomes for students in a priority community. This is the final validation step after earlier phases of design, refinement, and early-evidence assessment. The strategy scales up testing to build confidence before broader adoption.
Design Implications¶
Context¶
Requirements¶
- Completion of earlier evidence-building phases before attempting validation
- A solution already designed and refined through Phases 1-3
Constraints¶
- Validation targets outcomes for students in a priority community, not general populations
Target Learners¶
- students in a priority community
Target Learning Goals¶
- demonstrating improved student outcomes
Related Strategies¶
- Conduct a small pilot study to assess early evidence of success before full validation
- Refine a solution based on lessons learned during implementation
