Description¶
MTP-S coaching follows a recurring cycle: teachers submit videotaped sessions about twice a month; a consultant identifies brief segments for review; the teacher reviews the segments for their own behaviors and student reactions; and the teacher confers with the consultant in a 20- to 30-minute phone discussion in which the consultant "recommends strategies to enhance teacher–student interactions". Consultants also direct teachers to annotated video exemplars on the MTP-S website.
