Description¶
Way2Work Maryland's service design centered on giving students with disabilities repeated, progressively available work experiences as part of transition services. The model provided "opportunities for multiple work experiences" alongside early vocational rehabilitation referral and provider matching, so that students could "identify their interests and build their skills to inform their education and employment plans." In practice, nearly three-quarters of participants had at least two work experiences with at least one paid.
