Description¶
PALS prepares teachers through a one-day training event followed by written support materials. The report states that "Peer-Assisted Learning Strategies offers teacher training in an all-day workshop at which teachers learn to implement the program through modeling and role playing. Teachers also are provided with a manual describing the program." In the qualifying study, project staff also attended seven 45-minute lessons to provide help as necessary, and these sessions were not counted as part of the 15-week treatment.
