Description

The report recommends that a future adult-learning study "should first examine whether the workflow is understandable and usable in the intended course", distinguishing interface difficulties from workplace-problem difficulties. A subsequent evaluation could compare course-defined assistance conditions while holding learning objectives, task access and instructional time as constant as practicable, with independent performance assessed through clearly defined, preferably supervised tasks and a prespecified rubric, trained raters, and reported agreement before reconciliation.
