Description¶
The brief recommends that states, as keepers of state data systems, collect and share useful and timely educator workforce data that is "publicly available and easily accessible so stakeholders can make targeted, strategic workforce decisions at the school, district, and state level." Meaningful data includes annual school-level racial demographics of the educator workforce in a dashboard, school report cards, or a state report, plus candidate entry and completion data by race for preparation programs and retention data disaggregated by race/ethnicity.
