Description¶

The RA models require long-duration professional development rather than one-off training: in whole-grade and whole-school variations, "Teachers receive ten day-long professional development sessions over a period of up to two years." RAAL adds a 5-day pre-course institute, a 2-day fall institute, on-site coaching 4 times per year and online coaching 8 times per year, with annual tune-up meetings and options for second-year development.
