Description¶
Based on findings from high-performing classes, the report offers seven recommendations: explore the courseware's instructional tools, redesign activities to leverage courseware data, interweave peer learning, make connections to previous learning, address anxiety through empathy and confidence-building, focus on deliberate practice with formative assessments, and leverage courseware data and communication tools. These derive from spotlight analysis of five classes with both above-average affective engagement and higher-than-expected achievement.
