Description¶
The review distills organizational factors for quality implementation: clarifying expectations, objectives and acceptability for all stakeholders; matching participants and arranging contact; developing and clarifying assessment criteria with student involvement; providing quality training; and specifying required activities. "To maximize acceptability, one should progress in steps that are absorbable and achievable by students, building confidence from experience and providing feedback at each stage." "Clarification and exemplification of the assessment criteria to be applied is seen as essential and student involvement in their development, elaboration, or simplification highly desirable." Training should cover criteria use, group process, and giving and receiving feedback.
