Guide student teachers' AI prompts with a shared three-element structure (context, challenge, requested support) while leaving wording individual¶
Strategy · All strategies
Evidence · no claims cited
Description¶
The intervention standardized the type of information exchanged with the AI without a scripted template: 'participants were guided to include three elements in their prompts, a brief description of the classroom context, the specific instructional challenge or lesson content involved, and the type of support requested'. Within this shared structure participants formulated prompts in their own words, keeping interactions authentic and responsive to each teaching context while Gemini generated pedagogical suggestions such as alternative lesson structures and classroom management strategies.
