Reading the evidence codes
q is the design tier, i the impact, n the sample, and the kind with its r
the rigour judged within that kind: what each code means.
This claim: no standardized effect is recorded in observations/ for it yet, so no benchmark reading is possible.
q3 i2 Across groups, participants generated more original ideas under competition (M = 1.86, SD = 0.56) than in its absence (M = 1.72, SD = 0.33), F(1, 87) = 12.89, p = .001, ηp2 = .13. → Boot Nathalie 2017
q3 i? No main or interaction effects of competition or group were found for AUT fluency or flexibility. → Boot Nathalie 2017

Study 2 repeated-measures ANOVAs (competition vs. no competition, ADHD vs. controls, age covariate) on AUT scores. The main effect of competition on originality was significant, while fluency and flexibility showed no main or interaction effects (all ps > .124).
"However, we found a significant main effect of competition, F(1, 87) = 12.89, p = .001, ηp2 = .13, for the originality of ideas. Participants generated more original ideas under competition (M = 1.86, SD = 0.56) than in the absence of competition (M = 1.72, SD = 0.33)."
