Reading the evidence codes
q is the design tier, i the impact, n the sample, and the kind with its r
the rigour judged within that kind: what each code means.
This claim: no standardized effect is recorded in observations/ for it yet, so no benchmark reading is possible.
q3 i? Computer anxiety has a significant negative effect on perceived ease of use of an LMS (β = -0.276, p = 0.0001). → Saadé 2009

Survey of 645 university students using an in-house LMS in undergraduate MIS/FIT courses over one year. Regression analysis showed the effect of ANX on PEU was significant (β = -0.276, t=-7.732, p = 0.0001), "supporting the hypothesis" that anxiety affects PEU.
"H1 hypothesized that anxiety has a significant effect on PEU. As shown in Figure 3, the effect of ANX on PEU was significant (β = -0.276, t=-7.732, p = 0.0001), and therefore supporting the hypothesis."
Discussion¶
Related Claims¶
- In a cross-sectional survey, computer self-efficacy statistically mediates the association between computer anxiety and perceived ease of use of an LMS — related
- CSE partially mediates anxiety's effect on PEU: the direct ANX–PEU path remains significant but weaker — related
- Computer self-efficacy has a strong significant relationship with computer anxiety — related
