q is the design tier, i the impact, n the sample, and the kind with its r the rigour judged within that kind: what each code means.

This claim: no standardized effect is recorded in observations/ for it yet, so no benchmark reading is possible.

q2 i? Experimental groups that cooperatively adapted listening materials achieved significantly higher listening gain scores than the control group over a 17-session treatment. → Ghassemi 2013

Quasi-experimental pretest-posttest control group study of 90 Iranian EFL seniors randomly assigned to two experimental groups and one control. A One-Way ANOVA on gain scores found significant differences between the three groups, with "13% improvement on students’ listening achievement" reported.

"Gain scores calculated show 13% improvement on students’ listening achievement. In order to see if there was any significant difference between the mean score of thr ee groups, a One-Way ANOV A was conducted on the gain score. The P value, at 2 and 87 degree of freedom was smaller than .05"
