Reading the evidence codes
q is the design tier, i the impact, n the sample, and the kind with its r
the rigour judged within that kind: what each code means.
This claim: no standardized effect is recorded in observations/ for it yet, so no benchmark reading is possible.
q2 i2 Extensive reading significantly reduced Anxiety toward EFL reading, with a medium effect size (r = .34). → Junko Yamashita 2013

Junko Yamashita. (2013). Effects of extensive reading on reading attitudes in a foreign language. Reading in a Foreign Language, 25(2). http://nflrc.hawaii.edu/rfl doi:10.64152/10125/66872
q2 · i2 · causal · r1
Bonferroni-corrected multiple comparisons after repeated-measures ANOVA showed a significant pretest–posttest decrease in Anxiety with a medium effect (r = .34). Table 1 shows the Anxiety mean fell from 3.17 to 2.84.
"Effect size was large for Comfort (r = .54), medium for Anxiety (r = .34), close to medium but still small for Intellectual Value (r = .26), and negligible for Practical Value (r = .09)"

q2 · i? · causal · r1
The omnibus main effect of time across all four attitude variables was not significant; the attitude changes emerged through the time × attitude interaction rather than a uniform shift.
"the main effect of time was not significant, F(1, 60) = 0.364, p = .549, ηp2 < .001"
