Reading the evidence codes
q is the design tier, i the impact, n the sample, and the kind with its r
the rigour judged within that kind: what each code means.
This claim: no standardized effect is recorded in observations/ for it yet, so no benchmark reading is possible.
q2 i? The one study meeting WWC group design standards (with reservations) is an RCT whose random assignment was compromised because one student was not randomly assigned and unequal assignment probabilities were not accounted for in the analysis. → What Works Clearinghouse 2019

WWC assessment of Philp (2015): 315 eligible students in grades 7, 9, and 11 in four Florida districts were randomly assigned to FLIGHT or comparison, stratified by county and grade, but "compromised random assignment" lowered the rating to meets-standards-with-reservations.
"This is a randomized controlled trial (RCT) with compromised random assignment, and the analysis did not account for unequal probabilities of assignment to the treatment and comparison groups in one study site. Baseline equivalence of the treatment and comparison group is established."
