q is the design tier, i the impact, n the sample, and the kind with its r the rigour judged within that kind: what each code means.

This claim: no standardized effect is recorded in observations/ for it yet, so no benchmark reading is possible.

q2 i? Children characterized as outstandingly inattentive to spelling errors reduced mean errors from 6.4 to 0.2 per task after stepwise formation of monitoring activity. → Arievitch 2005

Small-scale experiment by Galperin and Kabylnitskaia (1974) with 23 nine-year-old third graders taught to monitor spelling via material, verbal, and covert-speech levels following an orientation chart. The article reports the pre-test mean was "6.4 errors per task" decreasing to "0.2 errors per task" at post-test; no effect size or significance test is printed.

"In the pre-test the mean was 6.4 errors per task (spelling checking in a given text) within a range of 3 to 12, while in the post-test the mean decreased to 0.2 errors per task within a range of 0 to 3."
