Reading the evidence codes

q is the design tier, i the impact, n the sample, and the kind with its r the rigour judged within that kind: what each code means.

This claim: no standardized effect is recorded in observations/ for it yet, so no benchmark reading is possible.

q3 i2 The gesture recognition group achieved significantly better stability test scores than the control group (ANCOVA F = 8.40, p = 0.005; η² = 0.116, a medium effect). → Hsien-Sheng Hsiao 2025

In the same quasi-experiment, the stability subtest of the motor skills test (based on the Preschooler Gross Motor Quality Scale) showed "the EG achieved significantly better scores than the CG" with η² = 0.116, a medium effect.

"The ANCOVA results showed that the EG achieved significantly better scores than the CG (F = 8.40, p = 0.005 < 0.05). The pretest score as the covariate was 4.02, and the adjusted mean scores were 7.60 for the EG and 7.03 for the CG. Moreover, the η 2 value was provided as a substitute for effect size (η 2 = 0.116)"
