This claim: no standardized effect is recorded in observations/ for it yet, so no benchmark reading is possible.
q2 i? Pre/post LASSI percentile scores increased for the Skill, Will, and Self-Regulation clusters, with the largest improvement in Self-Regulation. → Parker 2010

Parker, D. R., Field Hoffman, S., Sawilowsky, S., & Rolands, L. (2010). An Examination of the Effects of ADHD Coaching on University Students' Executive Functioning. Journal of Postsecondary Education and Disability, 24(2), 115-132. https://www.edgefoundation.org

Pre/post administration of the 80-item LASSI to seven participants, reported as percentile scores and displayed in Figure 1. The authors note "hypothesis testing is not appropriate" given the small sample, so gains are descriptive trends with no effect size or significance test.
"Post-test scores on this measure of students' study habits and beliefs showed gains in all areas. The area of greatest improvement was Self-Regulation, which measures students' ability to employ their skills across time in order to accomplish their goals."
Discussion¶
Related Claims¶
- Web-based SRL training combined with a learning diary (Group TD) produced statistically significant pre-post gains in SRL knowledge, the SRL overall score and self-efficacy, but not in mathematics scores, among prospective university students in an online preparation course — related
- In a randomized trial of SRL interventions in an online mathematics preparation course, group and time interacted significantly on SRL knowledge, self-efficacy and the SRL overall score, with Group TDP (training + diary + peer feedback) showing the most prominent gains — related
- A daily learning diary alone (Group D) did not produce statistically significant pre-post gains on any measured outcome in an online mathematics preparation course — related
- Coached students reported growing use of self-talk as an executive functioning strategy, with one exception — related
