Reading the evidence codes
q is the design tier, i the impact, n the sample, and the kind with its r
the rigour judged within that kind: what each code means.
This claim: no standardized effect is recorded in observations/ for it yet, so no benchmark reading is possible.
q3 i? No significant clusters correlated the behavioural audience effect on accuracy, or participants' RPI scores, with neural audience effects. → Dumontheil Iroise 2016

Dumontheil Iroise, Wolf Laura K., Blakemore Sarah-Jayne. (2016). Audience effects on the neural correlates of relational reasoning in adolescence. Neuropsychologia. https://doi.org/10.1016/j.neuropsychologia.2016.05.001

Correlation analyses across the whole fMRI sample tested whether individual differences in the neural Peer>Alone effect related to the accuracy audience effect or to resistance-to-peer-influence questionnaire scores; neither analysis found significant clusters, so the neural and behavioural audience effects were dissociated.
"No significant clusters were found in this analysis. In a second analysis, we found there were no significant clusters in the Peer>Alone contrast that correlated with the RPI scores of participants."
Discussion¶
Related Claims¶
- Individual differences in audience effects are not correlated with self-reported resistance to peer influence — possibly the same claim (merge candidate)
- A peer audience differentially modulates fronto-parietal activation by age: increased in adolescents, decreased in adults — related
