q2 i? Students who acquired PBL scored significantly higher on the mathematics critical thinking test than students who acquired conventional learning (PBL mean 37.7, MCC achievement 80%; CL mean 32.57, MCC achievement 50%). → Widyatiningtyas et al. 2015

Only-posttest static-group comparison of 140 grade-ten students (70 PBL, 70 CL) from one excellent and one moderate school; classes were existing, non-randomly selected. Descriptive results show PBL mean "37. 7" with 80% MCC achievement versus CL mean 32.57 with 50%. The t-test comparison is reported as significant without a printed test statistic or effect size.
"The data processing an average score of students' critical thinking skills and PBL 37. 7 percentage MCC achievement by 80%, the average score of 32. 57 and less CL MCC percentage achieved by 50% has been obtained."
