In the randomized controlled trial of 20 Hawaii schools, grade 5 boys in Positive Action schools reported serious violence at 10.8 versus 23.5 in comparison schools ("12.70 0.56 Statistically significant"), an effect size of 0.56. The parallel girls' finding (mean difference -2.20, effect size -0.30) was not statistically significant, so the effect is limited to boys.
"Serious violence (boys) Grade 5 1,330/20 10.8 (na) 23.5 (na) 12.70 0.56 Statistically significant"
