Reading the evidence codes

q is the design tier, i the impact, n the sample, and the kind with its r the rigour judged within that kind: what each code means.

This claim: no standardized effect is recorded in observations/ for it yet, so no benchmark reading is possible.

q3 i? In two studies meeting standards without reservations, READ 180® showed a statistically significant positive fluency effect in one study and an indeterminate effect in the other, yielding a potentially positive rating (average improvement index +4). → READ 180® 2016

The review's fluency-domain rating statement: one RCT (Kim et al., DIBELS Oral Reading Fluency) showed a statistically significant positive effect; the other (Fitzgerald & Hartry, Cohort 1 DIBELS) was indeterminate. Table 5 reports two studies, 561 students, seven schools.

"In the two studies that reported findings, the estimated impact of the intervention on outcomes in the reading fluency domain was positive and statistically significant for one study that meets WWC group design standards without reservations, and one study showed indeterminate effects."
