Reading the evidence codes

q is the design tier, i the impact, n the sample, and the kind with its r the rigour judged within that kind: what each code means.

This claim: no standardized effect is recorded in observations/ for it yet, so no benchmark reading is possible.

q2 i? ICD beta values in right insula/inferior frontal gyrus were larger for children with negative comprehension residuals (analogous to UPC) than for children with positive residuals, indicating greater density of strong right-hemisphere correlations in UPC. → Li 2018

Resting-state fMRI ICD analysis in 58 children from the GRaD sample, controlling for sex, SES, maternal education, and genetic ancestry PCs. The focal relationship remained significant after range restriction (p = .0013) and removing influential points (p = .00015).

"That is, ICD beta values were larger for children with negative comprehension residuals (analogous to UPC) than they were for children with positive comprehension residuals. This result indicates a greater density of strong correlations in the right hemisphere in subjects with UPC compared to UGC."
