Subclaims¶
Reading the evidence codes
q is the design tier, i the impact, n the sample, and the kind with its r
the rigour judged within that kind: what each code means.
This claim: no standardized effect is recorded in observations/ for it yet, so no benchmark reading is possible.
q3 i2 In the near transfer question, the trained group outperformed the control group at post-test 1 and post-test 2, with no group difference at pre-test. → Ana Pérez 2018

Mixed-effects logistic regression on selection accuracy in the near transfer question of the same 137-student classroom intervention. Post-hoc comparisons showed "the trained group outperformed the control group in the post-test 1" (OR = 0.19, CI 0.05-0.64) and post-test 2 (OR = 0.31, CI 0.09-1.08).
"whereas the trained group outperformed the control group in the post-test 1, χ² (1) = 14.90, p < .001 (OR = 0.19, CI 0.05-0.64), and post-test 2, χ² (1) = 7.19, p < .05 (OR = 0.31, CI 0.09-1.08)."

- PAIR-C scaffolding shows mixed evidence for deep understanding and reduced misconceptions in emergent-phenomena instruction — related
- Metacognitive reflection training improves young children's DCCS performance, with behavioral and neural changes — related
- Spatial Training Improves Math Performance — related
- The training shows no significant transfer to academic learning tasks, with only a marginal post-test advantage in number conservation — related
- Both errorful learning methods improve design critique (understanding the indeterminacy of invalid experiments) equally, outperforming errorless practice — related
