q is the design tier, i the impact, n the sample, and the kind with its r
the rigour judged within that kind: what each code means.
This claim: no standardized effect is recorded in observations/ for it yet, so no benchmark reading is possible.
q2 i3 LCA clustering of LMS indicators per course yielded three engagement states whose activity levels differed significantly on all indicators, with effect sizes (ε2) from 0.278 (FFCb) to 0.798 (SC). → Mohammed Saqr 2023

Latent Class Analysis of course-level LMS indicators (frequencies, time-on-task, regularity) selected three clusters by lowest BIC and AIC (BIC = 29,435.54; AIC = 28,720.35); Kruskal–Wallis comparison of clusters showed effect sizes "ε2 ranging from 0.278 (FFCb) to 0.798 (SC)", with all pairwise comparisons significant (p < 0.001). The largest ε2 of 0.798 is a large effect.
"The comparison of LMS indicator activity levels among the three clusters (Table 2) was statistically significant with an effect size (ε2) ranging from 0.278 (FFCb) to 0.798 (SC). All pairwise comparisons were statistically significant (p < 0.001)."
Discussion¶
Related Claims¶
- Active engagement was positively and significantly associated with the Achiever state in most, but not all, courses — related
- Disengagement was consistently and significantly associated with low achievement in all courses of the program — related
- K-means clustering of LMS log data identified two distinct SRL profiles (high and low) among online students — related
- Teachers' post-workshop platform engagement fell into three behavioral profiles, with most teachers showing minimal creation and browsing — related
