Reading the evidence codes

q is the design tier, i the impact, n the sample, and the kind with its r the rigour judged within that kind: what each code means.

This claim: no standardized effect is recorded in observations/ for it yet, so no benchmark reading is possible.

q3 i1 Intelligence was positively correlated with verbal WM (r = 0.16, p = .049) but not with visuospatial WM, despite the intelligence measure being nonverbal and visuospatial in nature. → Ger Ebru 2023

Correlational analysis in the N = 147 sample: verbal WM (Dwarf) and visuospatial WM (Mole) correlated with each other, but the RIAS intelligence score correlated "only with verbal WM (r = 0.16, p = .049)". The verbal WM–intelligence correlation was no longer significant after controlling for inhibition accuracy (ρ = 0.13, p = .136).

"Finally, verbal WM and visuospatial WM were positively correlated (r = 0.20, p = .015), while intelligence was positively correlated only with verbal WM (r = 0.16, p = .049)"
